ok guys. i read on what ya'll did and i did it to. i reseted my ps3 but i couldn't practise anything with it because i had no hdmi output and then i couldn't practice annihilation with my ps3. this is what i did and i dont know if it will work for you just information technology did for me. i turned off my tv, took the hdmi out, unplugged my tv for 10 seconds, plugged it back in, turned information technology dorsum on and hooked up the hdmi. it said audio only at commencement which was progress. before that it just said no signal. then i turned off my ps3 and turned it back on and nail. working. hope this helps guys!!!

My BM said our girl broke the PS3 but I did what u did n it came back on. Glad I could tell her that it was her POS TV n non our child. I also told her 2 stop blaming our kid 4 something that all she had 2 practice was Google a solution instead of yell northward scream n blame our kids 4 everything. Thank you again buddy

Very good post my friend. i tried the rest process of holding the power button until hearing the two beeps and while i did the successfully, it still didn't work. one time i unplugged my TV however...boom!!back to working with hdmi. who knew. anyway, thanks!!

If it gives you storage error I imagine that's a bad hard drive brother! Hard drives are pretty cheap these days. Get one for l$

PS3 Worked fine with the HDMI input only not with the component (RWY RCA connectors). Powered off, and held in the power switch for a few seconds and a 2nd beep. At present information technology is OK on the component connectors!
I took a can of compressed air and unplugged the hdmi cable and blew out the ports on the dorsum of the ps3 and idiot box and the cable ends. pluged the hdmi cable back in and turned the organization back on waiting for the second beep and everything started working fine again.

I take tried every single advice listed to a higher place and mine yet doesn't work. I was playing Oblivion and went into the primary city when information technology froze. I truned it off and tried turning it back on. Now all I become is a "no signal" on my
television set no matter if it's through the AV connection or the HDMI. Makes not deviation. I am and so frustrated I don't know what to practise!!!! I mean my goggle box won't even recogize that any devices are plugged in. My options are just tv set and the direct television receiver p[height. Can ANYONE assistance me???????

Switch your hdmi ends ;put the one in the ps3 in the telly and the one in the tv set in the ps3 .This worked for me
Mine does the same after doing all the reset tricks......and even going from HDMI to the video cables.....yet nothing. I am thinking my video card is shot......any recommendations?????
No answers but the same happend to me similar I tried all of the trick even switched the cablevision heads used another cablevision besides the difference is that it happened to mine when I was downloading the new software update

I am also experiencing this same problem added with heating issue.when I plugin with HDMI cable shows no bespeak simply when I connect it with av multiout works fine,resolution is below average. Have tried to reset the arrangement many times only still the aforementioned. For heating issue I cleaned the ventilation holes and tried fan test no use.

I had the same result. I turned my TV off, unplugged the HDMI cable and waited a few minutes. I plugged the TV back in and turned it on. Then I plugged the cablevision back in and nothing happened. I pressed and held the on button for 10 seconds and it made 2 beeping sounds. In one case information technology turned dorsum on, I took 2 eggs and broke them over the ps3 organization. This seemed to be damaging to the system. Once the system was completely broken, I went to BestBuy and bought a new one. This really works and is a pretty like shooting fish in a barrel fix.

I ghink it might be the hdmi Incoder chip or it might be the pcb has a crack between traces

I have tried all of the stuff but all the same still mine isn't coming on my hdmi simply when I employ av cord it works, someone said if I update information technology will come so I want to confirm if that'southward true
I don't believe an update would help I think it's more of a concrete Trouble so a software trouble just information technology never hurts to endeavor Message back if information technology does piece of work

For me belongings it would but turn it off. I never heard two beeps I heard either one or three. once I heard the one beep I had to have my finger off and and redepress the ability button and hold until I heard some other one beep, and then I did it again that way and then it worked (3x total)

I merely got one off a purchase and sell page ... came with all necessary cords ...have the hdmi one and my tv set is a smart tv... tried connecting it only at present if I try and employ that reset matter...no beep happens at all. Similar information technology won't turn off unless I unplug the whole system... theres a place to set information technology ? Or do I just get a new one period ...had someone tell me.it could he channels on tv or hdmi cord.... up for whatever suggestions bad or good...this is where I'one thousand a bit tech savvy

Somehow I got ours upwards and running. I went into The safe mode and reset everything twice. The last time I did not fix the date. And it started working. Not sure what I did. But who cares bc information technology'southward working. Skilful luck gamers

I've tried the double beep thing but, it makes me do this most every fourth dimension that I plough it on. I am as well having a very complicated problem in my PS3 ,once I continued my PS3 to my monitor using a DVI in cord to HDMI ,afterwards that I tried to connect my PS3 to Idiot box using av it does not work.i also tried HDMI on other Tv set besides ,my controller is also not catching signal please assist me out ,please tell me what is the problem and how can I fix information technology

I myself needs help tin can anyone help me I take a former school Samsung HDTV Progressive monitor I have my PS3 plugged in Via HDMI and screen is blacked out ive cut off all ability to it unplugged all components and simply had ps3 plugged in and it still merely works via rca just i deceit lookout my blue ray movies help please.

I did the hold downwardly 5 second thing heard the beeps. Turned dorsum on. Set it upwards, adept to go. Played fine for 2hrs. And then did it again. .. tried repeating the hold/beep process. But now i feel the ps3 showtime up and start spinning the disc. Then it but shuts off, no beeps. I've unplugged cord. Replugged every cord.. Whatsoever one know what i should do now? I've got both idiot box and ps3 unplugged now, waiting on a hero to help…

Your ps3 is bricked. i had the same trouble when a friend dropped the matter. you can either replace the broken/lacking hardware or the os may be corrupt, try reinstalling the organisation software.
if not it could merely be your television receiver or your cable

I gave a huge trouble I have tried to do the reset thing I accept tried to modify the settings manually I take tried to bandy the HDMI ends I have cleaned the ports the av cable works but HDMI does not and if I accept both plugged in the screen will say if I desire to employ HDMI and I click yes and then swap to my HDMI on my TV and it still says no signal I would really love to play my PS3 on HDMI whatsoever solutions

Tried every solution posted to a higher place using multiple input cables and controllers on a TV where three other systems were already working perfectly. Still no picture or audio from this old PS3… information technology turns on and the fan blows to give you the impression that it's doing something, but that'due south all it tin do. Controller doesn't fifty-fifty light up when plugged into it. I'm thinking someone sold me a dud.
